Nominations On Going
We are currently in the Nomination period for the 2008 Lone Star State Scholars program. If you are still in the 8th grade or lower, ask your teacher if he or she will be nominating the Best and Brightest from your class. If they don't know about our program, encourage them to visit our website to learn more about us and submit their nominations online.

Lone Star State Scholars Day @ the Ballpark
Mark your calendars! The Texas Rangers will again be honoring the Scholars on Saturday, August 16th in Arlington. 2007 Scholars are invited to participate in this event. Tickets are NOT yet available for sale but will be by May 1. To participate in the Scholar events, you must purchase your tickets through Lone Star State Scholars. One lucky student will be selected for special on-field recognition. Scholars will be honored at a special ceremony prior to the game and all members of the Scholars group will receive a free Texas Rangers baseball hat! Information will be updated on our web site, including discounts on area hotels and a special admission price and package for Six Flags Amusement Park for those coming from out of town. Jared Stover received Principal’s Honor Roll for the 3rd nine weeks, MVP defense on his basketball team and qualified for the Math Olympics for his school’s district.
